Are you passionate about supporting young people and families?Social Futures is excited to be seeking a motivated, skilled person to join our Reconnect team in the Clarence Valley. Reconnect is an early intervention program that works with vulnerable young people who are at risk of homelessness. The program provides support for young people 12-18 years of along with their families to build connection, increase life skills and prevent homelessness. Your ability to balance both supporting participants while building community capacity for young people makes this a varied and interesting position that supports participants to achieve their goals.The ideal candidate will:Enjoy delivering therapeutic and case management supports, providing relevant assistance and information in a timely manner;Be calm, composed, resilient and able to embrace and act on feedback with a positive attitude;Communicate effectively by listening, showing appropriate empathy and adapting your communication style to suit the situation; andContribute positively to team culture.Social Futures values diversity, with 9% of our employees identifying as Indigenous, we continue to strongly encourage indigenous and Torres strait islanders to apply.
