If you are you interested in supporting families, carers, children and young people to make positive changes in their lives then this could be the position for you.Family Connect and Support currently has vacancies for two Program Workers based out of our Lismore and Tweed Heads offices. Family Connect and Support (FCS) is an Early Intervention Service that works to bring families and young people, support services and community resources together so that children and young people are safe and well. We do this through providing timely information and advice, appropriate warm referrals and practical assistance.The PositionThe Program Worker role will be responsible for providing high quality, strengths-based and person-centered intake, assessments and interventions within a case management framework. Essential to the position is the ability to be flexible and responsive to the needs of the service, to build positive connections and to work collaboratively with key stakeholders. The role will sit within a highly-skilled, supportive and motivated team involving travel to other regional locations. In addition, the role may involve supporting families to connect with the right supports in other universal settings, such as within schools.The person we are looking for will be innovative, solution focused, passionate and have great people skills. They will also have a deep understanding of the challenges that face families, children and young people and the ability to achieve positive outcomes for customers within a fast-paced environment.
