Social Futures are looking for a person who has great people skills in building connections and relationships with Aboriginal families, communities and organisations . The Aboriginal Engagement Coordinator role will work with key stakeholders and communities to help build capacity, increase knowledge of referral pathways and remove barriers for First Nations people accessing services and support.The Aboriginal Engagement Coordinator supports connection and referral pathways between the Family Connect and Support program and Aboriginal families, communities and service organisations. The role works to collaboratively engage with key stakeholders and the broader community to help build capacity, increase knowledge and remove barriers to accessing services and support for Aboriginal families.To be successful in this new position we are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of the needs of Aboriginal families, along with strong community networks to support positive outcomes.Currently 9% of Social Futures staff are Aboriginal and we are actively striving to increase the staff numbers of First Nations people.
