Social Futures is seeking a motivated and skilled person to join our Youth Team as a Program Worker in our Homeless Youth Assistance Program (HYAP). As a Program Worker, you will be working with young people (aged 12-15) and their families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.We work with young people and their families to:Rebuild family, kin and cultural connections, and work towards family reconciliation, where appropriateSuccessfully transition to independenceEngage with education, training and/or employmentAccess mainstream health, mental health and well-being servicesEngage with the broader community to support successful transition to independence where it is appropriate to a young person’s age and development.The position requires relevant tertiary and /or sector experience.What Social Futures Offers:A responsive and family friendly workplaceAccess to banked hours leaveAttractive salary packaging optionsRegular supervision and supportOngoing training and developmentSocial Futures is a voice for social change in regional Australia, helping to create connected, resilient communities.
