The Ballina Clubhouse is a new initiative of the Social Futures Clubhouse Network. With a focus on Creative Arts, Music and the ‘STEM’ fields: Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, young people are mentored to develop their passions through projects that inspire self-expression and technological know-how. The Clubhouse approach to learning leverages technology to empower young people from all backgrounds to become more capable, creative, and confident learners.The Ballina Clubhouse Program is funded by the Department of Regional NSW, Stronger Communities Funding Deed. The program aims to provide young people with a safe environment within their local community where they can come together to build skills, increase social connections and access support pathways.This role will work to assist in the delivery of our afternoon Clubhouse Program in Ballina. The successful applicant will work closely with Clubhouse staff to deliver engaging activities to 12-18 young people in the Ballina region. To be successful in this role, you will need to be passionate about working with young people and flexible in your delivery to suit the changing needs of young people who attend each afternoon.
