Are you passionate about helping people start a new journey in life? The Social Strategy team leads community sector development programs across the Northern Rivers. We deliver sector outcomes in transport disadvantage, children, young people and families, housing and homelessness, and the community aged care sector.The successful candidate will lead our Connecting Employment Transport Service – working with industry-leading employers and sector leaders to provide meaningful, ongoing employment opportunities to transport disadvantaged jobseekers. This is an exciting new initiative under the Commonwealth Government Local Jobs Program.There is also opportunity to contribute and collaborate on engagement with community and service providers and other activities in projects across the team. We have a strong focus on bringing the community services sector more supportively alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers, organisations and communities.
