StandBy support after suicide service is a community-based postvention program developed in response to an identified need for a coordinated community response to assist families, friends and associates who have been bereaved or impacted through suicide, regardless of when or where the suicide occurred. It is an integrated response service utilising existing emergency and community support networks, resulting in bereaved people accessing the right support at the right time and place. Participation and cooperation with a wide range of agencies, essential.Consistent with the objectives of StandBy support after suicide and the vision and mission of Social Futures, the StandBy Program Worker will assist and support the StandBy Coordinator to deliver service across a regional footprint, to individuals, families, workplaces and communities who have been bereaved  and impacted through suicide.As a casual you will be supporting customers to access services in a timely and appropriate manner, including provision of relevant information about available & relevant services.
