Social Futures is currently looking for a Community Development Coordinator for the Central Coast region to work across the NDIS Local Area Coordination teams under the direction of the Manager, Capacity Building and Engagement. To be successful in this role, you will have experience coordinating community capacity building projects and events and the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with NDIS stakeholders and community and mainstream service, groups and individuals.Key AccountabilitiesCoordinate implementation of the strategies and actions of the Capacity Building and Engagement (CBE) Plan including developing and leading specific community projects and engagements activitiesImplement and lead comprehensive multi-faceted community engagement activities with key groupsEstablish connections with the community and build positive and effective relationships and networksLead, co-ordinate and support team participation in a range of engagement and capacity building activities including workshops, information and training sessions, presentations, expos etcSupport community and mainstream services to build their capacity to respond to the needs of people with disability and facilitate genuine inclusionPlease note that this position will be based at our Gosford office with regular travel required to our Wyong office.What Social Futures Offers:A responsive and family friendly workplaceAccess to banked hours leaveAttractive salary packaging optionsRegular supervision and supportOngoing training and developmentSocial Futures is a voice for social change in regional Australia, helping to create connected, resilient communities.
